Ram Picks Up World Record for Longest Parade of Pickups

On Saturday, Ram truck owners gathered at the Ram Truck ‘Round-up’ in Arlington, TX, with the goal of breaking the Guinness World Record for the longest parade of pickup trucks. Drivers from more than seven states, as well as Canada, made the trip down to the Lone Star State for this momentous occasion. Break the record they did — Ram narrowly defeated the previous record of a 438 truck line-up by with 451 dedicated drivers cruising down the parade route.

The Ram Truck Round-up was held in conjunction with the 50th Academy of Country Music (ACM) Awards at AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys. As the official truck of the ACM Awards, Ram invited its loyal customers to help celebrate the show’s anniversary by breaking this Guinness World Record.

Drivers started on the East side of AT&T Stadium and traveled 3.2 miles around it and the nearby Globe Life Park grounds. In addition to being a part of this legendary event, participating Ram owners were given exclusive access to live performances, just for them. Not only did they have the opportunity to witness an epic car-crushing demonstration by the Raminator Monster truck, but they also got their own country concert before the awards show even started. Recording artists Kix Brooks, Thomas Rhett, Easton Corbin and the Austin-based band Midnight Social all took the stage.

Those who participated in the Ram Truck Round-up are dedicated Ram fans who passionately support the notion that the automaker builds the best pickups in the industry.
